Specific Rules

Many rules apply based on the province where the business will be located.

The key requirements are:

• You must have an address in the province where the business will be located. This can be accomplished by using Registered Address service.
• You must have a valid picture identification
• If you have a Canadian partner, that individual must agree to act as the  Director of your corporation
• If you do not have a Canadian partner, you have to use one of the Non-resident packages offered by the Business Development Centre
• You need to make arrangements with an accounting firm to look after your corporate records. This can be accomplished by retaining the accounting staff at the Business Development Centre
